  I think we are seeing less here every year. They often return to same place for nesting but the wetlands get drier and roads take over.

Were those photos taken at Richmond?

  Some. Mum and babies were at Richmond but I took that photo in 2007. The pair walking to the river were taken just before my surgery. The others were taken in more recently years in Dubbo and Cowra.

I have never seen a live swan. I live in Marsh country and we have many kinds of ducks.:)

  I’ve never see white swans. Might be that black swans are southern equator. I know there are white swans in England.

        Oh okay very nice, I’m learning new stuff and that’s good 😀 thank you for informing me. So you’re saying that they may be a possibility that we may have here in the islands? For we have wetlands here, located South of the islands.
