I can’t believe it’s been nearly four years since I many anyone a card of some kind. With my back trouble, double surgery, arthritis and my erratic Fibromyalgia, then trying to sell a house for almost a year, I finally did it. I went through the hobby boxes searching for cardboard, glue, stamps, cut outs and stickers. These cards I made today. They’re a mix of my photography and actually creating cards from bits and pieces made from scratch. Although my fingers cramped up with the fine work, I don’t think I did too badly. Using my photos and the computer for printing, also gave me a break from the fiddly stuff. I always enjoyed this hobby and look forward again to rainy days, sticky fingers and creating. 🙂

Thanks Steve. I’ll probably continue but not to the extent before arthritis set in. Fingers cramps too much.

Thanks. I made that one for an elderly lady I visited regularly in Kingswood. Her birthday is next week.

We were living south-west of Sydney where it was too cold in winter and too hot in summer. We have recently moved about 500 Kilometers northeasterly where the weather is more stable. 🙂

That’s great! I’m glad to hear it! 😊
I’m curious why you say”up” here. I’ve heard of Australia being referred to as “down under” but not as “up”.

I’m not extremely creative.. but sometimes it flows and I have to capture it before it’s gone again! God bless.

Yes, especially creating just the right card for the person you are making it for.

It takes a bit of money to get started and by no means have enough bits and pieces to take it up again big time. It’s a fun hobby and a great way to use your creativity.

Beautiful! I’ve thought about taking up that hobby. Sure would be cheaper than what they charge at the store!
