Ringo fell down in the August winds and I’ve had him resting in a corner while I work out what to do with him. With a gaping hole in his mid section, a broken leg and a missing eye he needs critical attention. Sadly many of the smaller pieces were shattered so finely they have blown away.
Unlike the real koala I helped to rescue on the weekend from behind a block of units – checked over and released in a safer place, Ringo cannot be saved. 😦
However, I’ve decided to use him as a planter and find a place for him in the garden.

What a splendid idea for adaptation.

So glad you decided to repurpose Koala into a planter. Exactly the kind of thing I would do!

Yes. Those winds can do a lot of damage.
