Our drainage problem last year has certainly been fixed. No more sinking ankle deep in mud and slush.Everything is green and flourishing.Changes here and there. Finding just the right spot in the garden for this and that.Our latest addition to a plain corner.I love the sound of running water.A few empty pots ready for an Autumn annual or two..A view from the BBQ areaand one from the corner seat.Something in every nook and cranny to make it just right.We finally found a water feature that’s different and doesn’t feel over whelming. Do you like it?
There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.
Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
Most of us will not work this hard for the beauty of this garden. I love the idea of more flowers and someday would like to have more. I am afraid it is not in the cards for me, but I love to look at yours.
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. I have to give much of the credit to hubby and our son. Our son repaired the drainage problem back in August 2020, laid new turf and concreted the edges. Since then, I point and hubby digs. 😉 Designing and creating an easy to care for garden is definitely a help for the future when our knees and backs won’t handle it anymore.
Beautiful garden . I love the layout .I took my Master Gardening as hobby. I think from my. Dad who was a farmer. Happy I found you Blog.

I browsed through photos of the garden six months ago and it’s definitely thriving.
