Happy New Year to you all!
Trees bare
Frosty breath—
No warmth
Lifeless—
A bowl of soup
Crusty bread—
Glowing fireplace
Lazy days—

I know. We lived there for too many years. The drought has truly broken up here on the mid-north coast.

Too soon for here – we are having our ‘wet’ Summer! G:)

We had an over dry summer. Now it’s just wet.
It’s true what they say “Australia has just droughts and flooding rains”.

I want soup, crusty bread while I sit by the fire watching the chilly scene outside 😉

Soup on special in Coles. Crusty bread available at Baker’s Delight. A fire? Use your imagination and it’s easy to enjoy the scenery from inside.
