A Garden Corner Transformed

This area was all lawn before we started.

With most garden stores closed due to the COVID-19 restrictions, it’s taken some constant changes and imagination to get the main corner garden acceptable .

Windmill purchased via the internet. It was actually better than we thought it would be.

Some creative colour while waiting for the native seeds to grow.

My fairy garden will have to wait until life is back to some sort of normality. My stored gnomes though have found a new home.

And at night, it’s not a bad job done by a couple of oldies in lock-down.

I love the corner garden, especially the windmill. About how tall is it?

The windmill is about 1.5 metres tall. I’m actually thinking of relocating it later. I’d like to put an old tractor wheel beside it. Still looking.

  I just finished moving some bushes for the third time. Now, they look great and I can encourage others to jump right into those relocation projects. Post photos of the changes when you make them. I’d love to see.

    I try to leave plants in pots until I know for sure where I want them or where the sun/shade suits best.
    
    However, I’m always into changes so photos will keep coming. 🙂

      Unfortunately, my bushes were already planted when I moved to this house. The landscaper moved them and I didn’t like the placement. I had no idea these bushes were so hardy. Looking forward to your photos!

        Our back yard was just a swampy lawn. It’s a beautiful green but being a new build the lawn was put down with now preparation. Hubby slid through the fence while mowing and we sunk ankle deep after a light rain.
