I actually started in December when I made Birthday cards for three family members and a friend who have their birthdays in the first few weeks of January. Now I’ve completed a few of each – male, female and a couple of children’s cards – although I’m yet to make and cards for the younger boys. Our eldest grandson will be 18 in February but he loves penguins. I do have a shop bought card with a photo of a group of penguins on the front so I might give him that one. Does anyone know if a “group” of penguins is correct or is there another name?

I like “Huddle,” too — it’s a more exciting name 🙂

It can be frustrating. My hands aren’t as young as they used to be. Like the rest of me

I had an uncle who bought next Christmas’s presents in the January sales

My mother-in-law did that. Then, in December, she couldn’t remember who she bought them for.

🙂 I thought it particularly unfortunate for youngsters whose interests had moved on

Since my mother-in-law had nine grand children and 17 great grandchildren aged from 1 – 18 years, that was easily fixed. I guess it didn’t matter if she forgot who she bought for.

Nice cards Chrissy. I think a group of penguins are called either a colony or Rookery, and these are on land. A group of floating penguins are called a raft.

Good choices – also a huddle

Norm actually just googled it. There’s quite a few names. Huddle sounds perfect when they huddle together the way they do to keep warm.

Thanks Manu.
I’m not sure if I would go rafting on them.
